Jeremiah 17: 5-8 says, "Thus says the Lord. "Cursed is the man who Trusts in man. And makes flesh his strength, Whose heart departs from the Lord. For he shall be like a shrub in the desert. And shall not see when good comes. But shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness. In a salt land which is not inhabited. "Blessed is the man who Trusts in the Lord. And whose hope is the lord. For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters. Which spreads out its roots by the river. And will not fear when heat comes. But its leaf will be green. and will not be anxious in the year of drought. Nor will cease from yielding fruit" Wow! You might wonder why we are cursed if or when we Trusts man. Well the thing is that a man is human and he is a sinner, bound to fail, as we mentioned last week. So if we put our trust in man and that man fails us we will be heartbroken. God does not want us to be heartbroken, that is why He does not want us to trust man. He wants us to...

This week's blog is about TRUST. What is TRUST? =Trust is Confidence =Is a Belief =Is Faith =It is a certainty Is TRUST needed in life? Of course, we need Trust in our marriages, we need trust in business partners, employers need Trust in their employees, we need to Trust our parents, and parents need to Trust their children, we need to Trust our neighbors, and we need to Trust the drivers or the taxi, bus, train we take, we need to Trust the pilots and engines of the airplanes we are flying in. As you can see we need to excised Trust very much in everyone and everything, the problem is that Trust in humans and in things made by humans is build in PROBABILITIES, and are finally grounded when the probabilities become a Fact. There is still one problem, and that is when and after the Probabilities become a Fact, but that Fact fails. Let me remind you that even the most Trustworthy person and or equipment is bound to fail some day, that is when the trust either disappears or becomes...

JESUS IS OUR MEDIATOR

Image
What is a Mediator's job? = A mediator is one who intercedes between two parties that are in conflict with each other. Romans 3: 23 says, "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" And Isaiah 59: 2 says, "But your iniquities have separated you from your God. And your sins have hidden His face from you. So that He will not hear" These two texts remind us that because of our sins we have become separated from God and basically we are in enmity with Him, which tells us that we are in an urgent need of a MEDIATOR to bring back our friendship with God. 1-John 2: 1 says, "My little children, these things I write to you, so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous" Halleluiah! Here, John says, is the solution to our problem. We have an Advocate, we have a Mediator, we have one who can intercede for us, that one is non other than JESUS. Jesus is the only one who can Mediate for us...

JESUS' GREATEST PROMISE TO US

Image
John 14: 1-3 "Let not your heart be trouble; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In my Father's house are many mansions. If it were not so, I would have told you, I go and prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am there you may be also". This is what I call, "The promise of all promises" Why? Because if you noticed he is not just promising to come back, He is promising to come back to take us with Him, so that where He is we "May be also" Did you noticed the "May be also"? I did, and I believe the reason He said that is because He doesn't want to take us to where He is without our consent. So That means that if we want to go with Him when He returns we must first believe in what He is saying, then once we believe Him, we must be willing to go, we must accept His promise. I believe and I desire to go with Him when He comes back, I accept His promise...

JESUS IS OUR EXAMPLE

Image
Example of LOVE. John 15:13 "Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one's life for His friends" Jesus Loved us so much that he gave His life on the cross for everyone of us. Example of SERVICE. Mark 10: 45 "For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ranson for many" Jesus life was all to serve; healing the sick, feeding the hungry, comforting the people, preaching, and teaching. Example of SINLESS LIFE. Hebrews 4: 15 "For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weakness, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin" Yes my friends, Jesus in His human form was tempted in all the ways we are tempted, but did not commit sin, and the Bible also says that He can help those of us that are tempted so that we can overcome sin. Example of SUFFERING. 1-Peter 2: 21 "For to this you were called, because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that you sh...
