T E M P T A T I O N part 4

Temptations started from the very beginning at the garden of Eden, temptations are not something new to anyone. The sad thing is that our first parents did not resist the first temptation, they were not vigilant enough to identify the tempter nor were they wise to reject the invitation to eat of the forbidden fruit. But the worse thing after they fall is that we were all affected by their fall or disobedience, as sin entered into the world and sin brought pain, tears, suffering, and death.

Today we have some great news given to us by the Apostle Paul, in 1- Corinthians 10: 13 which says, "No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way to escape, that you may be able to bear it" Wow! this is such a great news, if we can only believe it, and remember it. God will not allow us to be tempted beyond our capacity! And with the temptation he will provide the way to escape. Fantastic!
So as temptations are everywhere, and presented to everyone, our prayer should not be to ask God not to let us be tempted but to ask Him for wisdom, so that we can identify the temptation, for strength so that we can endure it, and for the way to escape it.
May we all remember that the enemy, the devil, will temp us anytime, and anywhere, but that God is with us to guide and help us to be overcomers. Amen.
at last we must remember that as the first temptation in the garden of Eden brought consequences to us, our temptations too if we don't overcome them will bring consequences to us as well as to those around us. it will be much beneficial for all if we can endure the temptations in the name of the Lord.
May God help us be vigilant, sober, strong, and wise to resist every temptation, may we learn from Jesus to be overcomers.
