J E S U S part 2

 Jesus is our older brother.

In Romans 8:29 it says that Jesus is the firstborn among many brethren, and in John 20:17 After his resurrection Jesus told Mary Magdalene not to touch him because he had not ascended to his Father yet; but to go to his brethren, meaning the disciples, to tell them that he was ascending to his Father and to their Father. Then something marvelous is written in Romans 8:17, it says that as children of God and brothers with Christ we are heirs of God, and co-heirs with Christ, this is of course if we indeed suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together.
Yes my friends, indeed it is a great honor to have Jesus as our brother because a good older brother, love, care for, and protects his younger ones, and younger brothers respect, follows, and obey the older brother.
Jesus our older brother has done his part, he even went as far as to died for us on the cross, what are we doing to show our love to him, and appreciate his love for us? Are we following and obeying him? I hope we do. but remember there is always room to do better. Blessings.

T E M P T A T I O N part 3

  In our last blog we saw that it is the devil who tempts us and he is so bad that no one escapes his temptations, we also read that he does it because he wants to destroy people, but we read that we must do three things not to fall into temptation; we must be sober, vigilant, and resist the devil. Today we are going to read Hebrews 2:18 "For in that He Himself has suffered, being tempted. He is able to aid those who are tempted" Yes, He (Jesus) is able, and I should add, that He is not just able, He is ready and willing to aid (Help) those of us when we are tempted. What do we do when we need help? We ask, right? Then every time we find out that we are tempted we must call upon Jesus for help, and be confident that He will help. 2-Peter 2:9 says that the Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptations. Mount Up With Wings As Eagles

  The eagle is the bird that flights the highest, up to 10.000 feet. The eagle is not afraid of the storms, in fact he likes the storms because he takes advantage of the storm to flight high. When the eagle sees the storm coming he launches into flight to ascend in a spiral manner, upward, upward, upward until the storm passes, but in the process he finds himself closer to the light of the sun. Other birds and animals when they see the storm coming they get afraid, run to hide and to find protection. Christians who wait and trust in the Lord are like eagles, they see the storm coming and they prepare to ascend upward, upward, and upward closer in their experience with the Lord, the sun of righteousness. Every storm the Christian faces makes him/her stronger and stronger ready to defeat a bigger storm.
