  Jesus is our Creator. John 1:1-3 says, "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made" Please notice three things here: First, it is talking about a different person other than God, second, it says He was with God, so there are two persons, third, the Word and He are in capital letters. The question is who is it talking about and how do we know it is talking about Jesus? Oh it is simple. Lets us read John 1:14 "And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth" There, we have it. Who was not in the flesh but became flesh? Jesus, and who dwelt among us? Jesus. Let us look at another text.   Jesus is our older brother. In Romans 8:29 it says that Jesus is the firstborn among many brethren, and in John 20:17 After his resurrection Jesus told Mary Magdalene not to touch him because he had not ascended to his Father yet; but to go to his brethren, meaning the disciples, to tell them that he was ascending to his Father and to their Father. Then something marvelous is written in Romans 8:17, it says that as children of God and brothers with Christ we are heirs of God, and co-heirs with Christ, this is of course if we indeed suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together. Yes my friends, indeed it is a great honor to have Jesus as our brother because a good older brother, love, care for, and protects his younger ones, and younger brothers respect, follows, and obey the older brother.   Who is Jesus? At some point during his ministry Jesus asked his disciples who did the people say he was. After giving him the different opinions of the people around, Jesus asked them, who did they say he was, and Peter answered and said, "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God".
