F A I T H part 4

How do we demonstrate that we have Faith? James 2:18 says, "You have Faith, and I have works. Show me your Faith without your works, and I will show you my Faith by my works"

Yes, Faith is believing, but a believe moves to action, that is works. Do you remember that my friend called me and told me that he was coming to pick me up in 20 minutes? well I was not ready for him but because I believed him, I developed Faith that he was coming for me, I moved to make myself ready. That is works, my believe and my Faith moved me to action. If you believe there is electricity in your house and you need lights you turn the switch on, if you believe that there is water in your pipes and you need water you open the faucet, that is Faith, and your Faith moves you to action, that is works, together with your Faith.
Let us continue reading from the Apostle James, 2:19-24 "You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe - and tremble! But do you want to know, O foolish man, that Faith without works is dead? Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered Isaac his son in the altar? Do you see that Faith was working together with his works, and by works Faith was made perfect? And the scripture was fulfilled which says, 'Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness'. And he was called the friend of God. You see then that a man is justified by works, and not by Faith only".
In conclusion, Jesus promised in John 14:1-3 to come back to take us with him to heaven. If we believe and have faith in his promise we must make ourselves ready by his grace and by his power, but because he did not say when he is coming we better be ready today, tomorrow, and every day.
