HEAVEN part 2

 Last week we described Heaven as a place of peace, love, tranquility, and a paradise. But when we think of heaven it is often a thought of a future place and it is only in the imagination.

This week we want to stop imagining and try to start living it. In Proverbs 23:7 it says, "For as he think in his heart, so is he..." Yes as man think in his heart so is he. There is much power in the thinking. We can choose to cultivate positive thoughts, for they can bring peace, love, forgiveness, etc. If we do the contrary, (cultivate negative thought) these can and will bring pride, hate, selfishness, stress, etc.
If we implement the power of positive minds and positive thinking we can bring a piece of heaven here and now. There a song that says, "Let there be peace on earth, and let it begging with me" That is a big truth because if we desire peace, love and harmony, we must start thinking it and showing it.
In conclusion, when we pray the Lord's prayer we say, "Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth, as it is in Heaven" By praying this prayer we are expressing our desire to have a little piece of Heaven here on earth. Yes can bring a piece of heaven to earth now by the power of our minds and the power of God. I suggest we all start by making peace with God, peace with ourselves, and peace with our fellow citizens, after all if we can't live in peace here we won't be ready to live in peace in heaven. "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me"

T E M P T A T I O N part 3

  In our last blog we saw that it is the devil who tempts us and he is so bad that no one escapes his temptations, we also read that he does it because he wants to destroy people, but we read that we must do three things not to fall into temptation; we must be sober, vigilant, and resist the devil. Today we are going to read Hebrews 2:18 "For in that He Himself has suffered, being tempted. He is able to aid those who are tempted" Yes, He (Jesus) is able, and I should add, that He is not just able, He is ready and willing to aid (Help) those of us when we are tempted. What do we do when we need help? We ask, right? Then every time we find out that we are tempted we must call upon Jesus for help, and be confident that He will help. 2-Peter 2:9 says that the Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptations. Mount Up With Wings As Eagles

  The eagle is the bird that flights the highest, up to 10.000 feet. The eagle is not afraid of the storms, in fact he likes the storms because he takes advantage of the storm to flight high. When the eagle sees the storm coming he launches into flight to ascend in a spiral manner, upward, upward, upward until the storm passes, but in the process he finds himself closer to the light of the sun. Other birds and animals when they see the storm coming they get afraid, run to hide and to find protection. Christians who wait and trust in the Lord are like eagles, they see the storm coming and they prepare to ascend upward, upward, and upward closer in their experience with the Lord, the sun of righteousness. Every storm the Christian faces makes him/her stronger and stronger ready to defeat a bigger storm.
