  As we conclude our blogs about Heaven we have two questions to consider, one, are we all invited to go to Heaven? and the answer is a big YES. Here is Bible text to read. John 12:32 "And I, if I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all peoples to Myself" Yes Jesus did said that and yes He was lifted up from the earth to heaven, so his desire is to draw all of us. The second question is, are we all going? and the sad answer is NO, and why not you might ask, and that is because not everyone is willing to go, and even though God would like to take us all, He would not take us against our will. Here is what John 3:16 says, "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life" God's love and desire is the same for the whole world but He will only save those who believe and accept His Son Jesus Christ.   The Bible says in Psalms 115:16 "The heaven, even the heavens are the Lord's, but the earth hath he given to the children of men" Yes, God has made and formed this earth for us, the humans, as our permanent, loving, peaceful, and happy home. Unfortunately, sin entered in it and took away those amazing qualities. The good news is that God is planning to clean and recreate this earth to its original condition. In Isaiah 65:17 says, "For, behold, I create new heavens and new earth; and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind" and in Revelation 21 John saw in vision the new heaven and the new earth. Here is the great news about heaven, and it is that while God cleans and recreates this messy and sinful earth He wants to take us to heaven for one thousand years. Revelation 20. Do you want to go?   Last week we described Heaven as a place of peace, love, tranquility, and a paradise. But when we think of heaven it is often a thought of a future place and it is only in the imagination. This week we want to stop imagining and try to start living it. In Proverbs 23:7 it says, "For as he think in his heart, so is he..." Yes as man think in his heart so is he. There is much power in the thinking. We can choose to cultivate positive thoughts, for they can bring peace, love, forgiveness, etc. If we do the contrary, (cultivate negative thought) these can and will bring pride, hate, selfishness, stress, etc. If we implement the power of positive minds and positive thinking we can bring a piece of heaven here and now. There a song that says, "Let there be peace on earth, and let it begging with me" That is a big truth because if we desire peace, love and harmony, we must start thinking it and showing it.   This month we will be talking about Heaven. The question may be, what is Heaven? According to the general definition heaven is a place of peace, a place where God has his throne, where God's kingdom is, a place of happiness and eternity. The Greek word for Heaven is OURANOS, which means a paradise but also means the sky or skies. We see in the Bible that there seems to be three different regions which are identified as Heaven. In Matthew 6:26 Jesus said, "Look at the birds of the air..." we find that the word for air here is OURANOS or in some others versions Heaven. This is the first regions known as heaven, the atmosphere, as part of the natural world, where the birds have access.
