F A M I L Y part 2

 The Family is the base and foundation for everything, as we saw last week that it was God the founder and creator of the family, right from the very beginning of creation and history of our world.

Every person that lived and is living on planet earth came from a family; Presidents of nations came from a family, doctors and nurses came from a family, rich and poor people came from a family, the wise and the not so wise came from a family, the hard working class as well as the not so working class also came from a family, inventors and scientists came from a family, preachers and priests from every denomination came from a family, friends and enemies also came from a family, and let us not forget that thieves and criminals also came from some family.
The family is an influence positive or negative in our society, the presence of a family is in churches, schools, hospitals, stores, banks, in politics, in economy, in every industry and in every area of life.
What can make and should make the difference is how loving and caring each member of each family is for each other, starting with mothers and fathers, how they love and care of each other can and will influence their children and these children will most likely pass that to their children and so on and so for.
Proverbs 9:10 says that the beginning of wisdom is the fear of the Lord, and that the knowledge of the Holy one is understanding. We can say in conclusion that the closer and the respectful a family is to God the better equip they will all be to influence our society in a positive way. We should all say as Joshua said, "And if it seems evil to you to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord" Joshua 24:15

  In our last blog we saw that it is the devil who tempts us and he is so bad that no one escapes his temptations, we also read that he does it because he wants to destroy people, but we read that we must do three things not to fall into temptation; we must be sober, vigilant, and resist the devil. Today we are going to read Hebrews 2:18 "For in that He Himself has suffered, being tempted. He is able to aid those who are tempted" Yes, He (Jesus) is able, and I should add, that He is not just able, He is ready and willing to aid (Help) those of us when we are tempted. What do we do when we need help? We ask, right? Then every time we find out that we are tempted we must call upon Jesus for help, and be confident that He will help. 2-Peter 2:9 says that the Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptations. Mount Up With Wings As Eagles

  The eagle is the bird that flights the highest, up to 10.000 feet. The eagle is not afraid of the storms, in fact he likes the storms because he takes advantage of the storm to flight high. When the eagle sees the storm coming he launches into flight to ascend in a spiral manner, upward, upward, upward until the storm passes, but in the process he finds himself closer to the light of the sun. Other birds and animals when they see the storm coming they get afraid, run to hide and to find protection. Christians who wait and trust in the Lord are like eagles, they see the storm coming and they prepare to ascend upward, upward, and upward closer in their experience with the Lord, the sun of righteousness. Every storm the Christian faces makes him/her stronger and stronger ready to defeat a bigger storm.
