 What is Truth?

Truth is Veracity
Truth is a Reality
Truth is The Fact of the Matter.
John 8: 31-32 "Then Jesus said to those Jews who believe Him, "If you abide in My word you are my disciples indeed, And you shall know the Truth, and the Truth shall make you free"
Here Jesus was talking to Jews, religious people, those who believed in Him, but He told them that if they abide in His word they would be his true disciples.
Furthermore, Jesus said to those Jews, to those new believers that they shall know the Truth, and the Truth shall make them free.
From these two verses I learn three things; one, that been a religious person does not necessarily makes us true disciples of Jesus Christ. Those Jews were already religious, and yet they were not true disciples. Two, that in order to be a true disciple one must abide in his word, to follow the Bible instructions and live according to the word. Three, that if we want to be free we need to know the Truth.
We will be studying about the Truth in the next few weeks. "Maranatha"

T E M P T A T I O N part 3

  In our last blog we saw that it is the devil who tempts us and he is so bad that no one escapes his temptations, we also read that he does it because he wants to destroy people, but we read that we must do three things not to fall into temptation; we must be sober, vigilant, and resist the devil. Today we are going to read Hebrews 2:18 "For in that He Himself has suffered, being tempted. He is able to aid those who are tempted" Yes, He (Jesus) is able, and I should add, that He is not just able, He is ready and willing to aid (Help) those of us when we are tempted. What do we do when we need help? We ask, right? Then every time we find out that we are tempted we must call upon Jesus for help, and be confident that He will help. 2-Peter 2:9 says that the Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptations. Mount Up With Wings As Eagles

  The eagle is the bird that flights the highest, up to 10.000 feet. The eagle is not afraid of the storms, in fact he likes the storms because he takes advantage of the storm to flight high. When the eagle sees the storm coming he launches into flight to ascend in a spiral manner, upward, upward, upward until the storm passes, but in the process he finds himself closer to the light of the sun. Other birds and animals when they see the storm coming they get afraid, run to hide and to find protection. Christians who wait and trust in the Lord are like eagles, they see the storm coming and they prepare to ascend upward, upward, and upward closer in their experience with the Lord, the sun of righteousness. Every storm the Christian faces makes him/her stronger and stronger ready to defeat a bigger storm.
