The Bible part 5

This is the last blog about the Bible, for this time, and again we are going to use two Bible texts to continue answering the question: Why are there so many different religions in the world, and why they teach different things, and they all claim to base their teachings from the Bible?

Hebrew 4:12 tells us that the Bible is like a two-edged sword. "For the word of God is living and powerful, and even sharper than a two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is the discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart".
This could be one of the reasons for so many different interpretations and teachings of the Bible. That is because the Bible is a two-edged sword, which means it can be used to support different isolated ideas.
Our second text is Isaiah 28:10, and this should be the formula of Bible interpretation, because the Bible doesn't contradict itself "For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept, Line upon line, line upon line, Here a little, there a little".
So, any and every teaching and doctrine must be using this formula and must never use an isolated text to support it.
One should never make a teaching or doctrine just from one isolated passage from the Bible or just from the New Testament or the Old Testament, they both must agree with each other, so again, line upon line, precept upon precept, here a little there a little.
I hope this helps everyone in their Bible studies as they use it for Basic Instruction Before Leaving Earth. Amen.
