The Lion Of The Tribe Of Judah

  Revelation 5: 5 says, "And one of the elders saith unto me, "Weep not: Behold the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof"" It is easy and common to think of Jesus as a lamb; by its tenderness, gentleness, and even submissiveness, but it is not common to think of Him as a lion. It is the Bible however that says it. There must be a reason for it.
