T H E B I B L E part 2

 This week we are going to look at how the Bible came to us.

2-Timothy 3:16 says, "All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness"
Here we read that the Bible or Scripture was given to us by the inspiration of God, and because it is the inspire word of God has the capacity and power to teach us doctrine, reproof, correction in righteousness, meaning good, not bad instruction, not wrong doctrine, but good, in righteousness.
2-Peter 1: 20-21 says, "Knowing this first, that no prophecy of Scripture is of any private interpretation, for the prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke (wrote) as they were moved by the holy spirit"
Ok, so it wasn't just anyone who decided one day out of the blue: "I am going to write something, and let it be part of the Bible for the people" no, no, no. First it says that they were holy men of God, but been holy wasn't enough, they had to be moved (inspired) by the holy spirit of God.
That is, in a quick form how the Bible became the Bible. God inspired those holy men by His holy spirit on what to write for us. So we can conclude that base on that process the Bible is the Word of God.

  Welcome to our page. Jeremiah 9:23-24 says, "Thus says the Lord: "Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom. Let not the mighty man glory in his might. Let not the rich man glory in his riches; But let him who glories glory in this, That he understands and knows Me. That I am the Lord exercising lovingkindness, judgement, and righteousness in the earth. For in these I delight", says the Lord". Oh what a difference it would be if we could only understand and know God!. Let us all purpose in our hearts to make 2024 the year in which we will know God better and understand Him more. The Lion Of The Tribe Of Judah

  Revelation 5: 5 says, "And one of the elders saith unto me, "Weep not: Behold the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof"" It is easy and common to think of Jesus as a lamb; by its tenderness, gentleness, and even submissiveness, but it is not common to think of Him as a lion. It is the Bible however that says it. There must be a reason for it. Let us read what Jacob was telling his twelve sons about their future, in Genesis 49: 8-9 "Judah, thou art he whom thy brethren shall praise: thy hand shall be in the neck of thine enemies; thy father's children shall bow down before thee. Judah is a lion's whelp: from the prey, my son thou art gone up; he stooped down, he couched as a lion, and as old lion; who shall rouse him up?
