THE GOSPEL PART 2

 Last week we found out that the Gospel is a "Good News", this week we are going to see if there are many gospels or if there is and should be only one.

It is estimated that there are about 4200 different religions in the world, but it is also estimated that there are five major internationally known religions, which are: Christianism, Islamism, Buddhism, Judaism, and Hinduism. So it means that all the 4200 religions are branched off from one of these five major big religions.
It is interesting to note that even though many of these religions have some similarities they are still different from each other.
Why are there so many religions? is the common question, and a great number of them preach the gospel, uses the bible, pray, etc. This in fact is very confusing for many people, because, how do one knows which religion is teaching and preaching the truth, or which one is better even?
Sadly to say, but because these many similarities among the different religions, and the difficulty to find the right one many people opt to follow no religions at all, or what is worst become Atheist or Agnostics.
Let us read what the most prominent teacher and preacher of the Christian Era have to say about this confusion. Galatians 1:6-9 "I marvel that you are turning away so soon from Him who called you in the grace of Christ, to a DIFFERENT GOSPEL, which is not another; but there are some who have TROUBLE YOU and want to PERVERT the GOSPEL OF CHRIST. But even if WE, or an ANGEL from heaven,, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, LET HIM BE ACCURSED. As we have said before, so I say again. If anyone preaches ANY OTHER GOSPEL to you than what you have received, LET HIM BE ACCURSED" Wow!, wow! To be continue next week. Blessings.

T E M P T A T I O N part 3

  In our last blog we saw that it is the devil who tempts us and he is so bad that no one escapes his temptations, we also read that he does it because he wants to destroy people, but we read that we must do three things not to fall into temptation; we must be sober, vigilant, and resist the devil. Today we are going to read Hebrews 2:18 "For in that He Himself has suffered, being tempted. He is able to aid those who are tempted" Yes, He (Jesus) is able, and I should add, that He is not just able, He is ready and willing to aid (Help) those of us when we are tempted. What do we do when we need help? We ask, right? Then every time we find out that we are tempted we must call upon Jesus for help, and be confident that He will help. 2-Peter 2:9 says that the Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptations. Mount Up With Wings As Eagles

  The eagle is the bird that flights the highest, up to 10.000 feet. The eagle is not afraid of the storms, in fact he likes the storms because he takes advantage of the storm to flight high. When the eagle sees the storm coming he launches into flight to ascend in a spiral manner, upward, upward, upward until the storm passes, but in the process he finds himself closer to the light of the sun. Other birds and animals when they see the storm coming they get afraid, run to hide and to find protection. Christians who wait and trust in the Lord are like eagles, they see the storm coming and they prepare to ascend upward, upward, and upward closer in their experience with the Lord, the sun of righteousness. Every storm the Christian faces makes him/her stronger and stronger ready to defeat a bigger storm.
