This week we are concluding our blogs about the Gospel, and we will like to take a look at the power of the Gospel in a person. Let's take the apostle Paul for example, in the book of Acts 9: 1-19 we find the story of Paul's encounter with Jesus (the true Gospel) Paul was on his way to Damascus to persecute Christians, as his custom was, except that this time the Gospel, Jesus, appeared to him on a light shining to his face and asking, "Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me? We read that the power of the light and words of Jesus made Paul fall off his horse and loose his sight. As a result of Paul's encounter with the Person of Jesus he converted from persecutor of Christians to one of them, he became a believer, a preacher, teacher and writer of the Gospel. The power of the Gospel changed him. In Romans 1: 16 he wrote, "For I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jews first and also for...
