S A L V A T I O N part 3


 Here is the greatest news about SALVATION: It is FREE. Romans 6: 23 says that eternal life is a GIFT of God in Christ Jesus. Of course, the fact that it is free to us does not mean that it is free to all, or for all.

When someone gives you a free gift, it is free to you but somebody, usually the giver has paid for it. In the case of our salvation, God has paid for it in the person of His beloved Son Jesus Christ. Yes, it is free to us, but it costed God the blood and life of His Son.
Romans 5: 15 says, "But the free gift is not like the offense. For if by the one man's offense many died, much more the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one Man. Jesus Christ, abounded to many" A Free Gift, Do you see it? And Ephesians 2: 8 says, "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; It is the gift of God" A Gift of God, to us.
When someone gives me a gift, I appreciate it, and take a good care of it. One of my dear sisters gave me a pair of sun glasses at least 20 years ago, and would you believe? I still have them, I use them wisely and take a good care of them, because I know she paid good money for them.
Here is the one million dollar question, Do you accept and appreciate the greatest gift from God in the person of His Son Jesus? I do. If you do, you are in a good way, a way towards Salvation. If you don't, I will pray for you to change your mind and accept the free gift to you, Jesus. The only hope for Salvation. Be blessed and remain connected to the true vine.

  In our last blog we saw that it is the devil who tempts us and he is so bad that no one escapes his temptations, we also read that he does it because he wants to destroy people, but we read that we must do three things not to fall into temptation; we must be sober, vigilant, and resist the devil. Today we are going to read Hebrews 2:18 "For in that He Himself has suffered, being tempted. He is able to aid those who are tempted" Yes, He (Jesus) is able, and I should add, that He is not just able, He is ready and willing to aid (Help) those of us when we are tempted. What do we do when we need help? We ask, right? Then every time we find out that we are tempted we must call upon Jesus for help, and be confident that He will help. 2-Peter 2:9 says that the Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptations. Mount Up With Wings As Eagles

  The eagle is the bird that flights the highest, up to 10.000 feet. The eagle is not afraid of the storms, in fact he likes the storms because he takes advantage of the storm to flight high. When the eagle sees the storm coming he launches into flight to ascend in a spiral manner, upward, upward, upward until the storm passes, but in the process he finds himself closer to the light of the sun. Other birds and animals when they see the storm coming they get afraid, run to hide and to find protection. Christians who wait and trust in the Lord are like eagles, they see the storm coming and they prepare to ascend upward, upward, and upward closer in their experience with the Lord, the sun of righteousness.
