Some examples of Faith. Abraham. Hebrews 11:8-10 "By Faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out to the place which he would received as an inheritance. And he went out, not knowing where he was going. By Faith he dwelt in the land of promise as in a foreign country, dwelling in tents with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise; for he waited for the city which has foundations, whose builder and maker is God" Abraham left his place and went without knowing where he was going, just trusting in God's word, and by doing so he as called the Father of our Faith. Ester. Ester 4:16-17 "Then Ester told them to reply to Mordecai. 'Go, gather all the Jews who are present in Shushan, and fast for me, neither eat nor drink for three days. night or day. My maids and I will fast likewise. And so I will go in the King, which is against the law, and if I perish, I perish. So Mordecai went his way and did according to all that Ester commanded him" ...

How do we demonstrate that we have Faith? James 2:18 says, "You have Faith, and I have works. Show me your Faith without your works, and I will show you my Faith by my works" Yes, Faith is believing, but a believe moves to action, that is works. Do you remember that my friend called me and told me that he was coming to pick me up in 20 minutes? well I was not ready for him but because I believed him, I developed Faith that he was coming for me, I moved to make myself ready. That is works, my believe and my Faith moved me to action. If you believe there is electricity in your house and you need lights you turn the switch on, if you believe that there is water in your pipes and you need water you open the faucet, that is Faith, and your Faith moves you to action, that is works, together with your Faith. Let us continue reading from the Apostle James, 2:19-24 "You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe - and tremble! But do you want to know, ...

How strong or how big is your Faith? In Luke 17: 5 the Apostles asked Jesus to increase their Faith, and in another occasion Jesus told them, "O you of little faith" Apparently the Apostles admitted that their Faith was not as strong as it should be. How is yours? Before we talk about increasing our Faith let us try to determine if it needs to be increase. If we go back to Luke chapter 17 we will see that just before the Apostles asked to increase their Faith Jesus had told them that if their brother sins, or offend them seven times in one day and he repent that they must forgive him. Forgiveness is divine and it is a blessing to both parties but it is not easy to give. Some of us have a hard times forgiving those that offend us, and what about if it happens seven times in one day? Now that we know that we need more Faith the question is, how do we increase it? Last week we learned that Faith comes by hearing the Word of God. Ok, then, if Faith comes by hearing the Word of...

How do we develop Faith? Romans 10:17says, "So then Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God" Let me illustrate this by telling you a story; A friend of mine called me one day and asked me what I was doing, as I am always doing something, I asked him why, he said he need me to go with him to look at a property for sale, he is interested in. I said ok, he said he will pick me up in 20 minutes. So I dropped what I was doing, changed my clothes, and got ready because my friend was coming in minutes. How was I sure he was coming to pick me up? by faith in what he told me, by hearing at his words. If I did not hear his word I would not believe and I would have not developed Faith. Faith in God comes by hearing His word. Revelation 1:3 has a beautiful promise, "Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written in it; for the time is near" Yes my friends, the time of the end is near, let us prepar...

What is Faith? Many people have tried to define Faith, but I personally think that the best definition of Faith is what we find in the Holy book of God, the Bible. In the book of Hebrews 11: 1 it says, "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen" Does one need to be a religious person to have faith? The answer is not, everyone exercise faith in life without been religious and without even knowing that they do. For example, when we say, "I'll see you tomorrow" to a friend or family member, we hope and believe to be among the living the next day to see each other. You see that is faith. Also when you open a faucet to get water, you don't see the water flowing until you open, but you hope and believe that if you open the faucet water will flow, that is faith. For "Faith is the substance (Something tangible, visible, and solid presence) of the things hoped for, and the evidence (The prove, confirmation, and demonstration...
