Salvation definition: To save, to preserve, to liberate, to redeem. Now, the question is: to save, preserve, liberate, redeem, from what or from who? The Bible says in Romans 3:23 that we have all sinned and fall short of the glory of God. And Romans 6:23 says that the wages of sin is death. That means we all have a problem, and even bigger problem as we read what Jeremiah 2:22 says; "For though you wash yourself with lye, and use much soap, yet your iniquity is marked before Me, "says the Lord God"" Here is a great news though, Romans 5:12 says that sin entered the world by one man. That man was Adam, and because him by disobeying God allowed sin in now we are all in big trouble. Thanks to God's love that he sent his only begotten son to died for all of us. Saint Peter the apostle said in Acts 4:12 "Nor is there SALVATION in any other, for there is no other name under heaven among men by which we must be SAVED" Thanks be to God for his marvelous ...

Love Your Neighbor as Yourself

Leviticus 19:18 Mark 12:31 This is the second commandment, Jesus said. Are there only two commandments as many believe then? No, no, no. What I think Jesus was doing when he talked about these two commandments was simplifying it so that they could understand it easier. As we know the 10 commandments were written in two tables or tablets or stone, stone to show their perpetuity Matthew 5:17-19 and two tables because in the first there were the commandments to love and respect God such as: Not having other gods, not making images of thigs above or bellow, not taking the name of God in vain, and keeping and respecting his holy day, the seventh day of the week, the Sabbath, Saturday. And in the second tablet of stone there are the things one must do to show respect and love to fellow neighbors such as: Honoring father and mother, not murdering, not committing adultery, not stealing, not bearing false witness, and not coveting the neighbors' things. Exodus 20:3-17 As we can see even if ...

Last week we saw that God expects us to love him with all our heart, all our mind, all our soul, and all our strength. this week we will find out why he expects us to do so. Let us start by reading San John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, That whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life" Now let us read what The Apostle Paul says in Romans 5:8-11 "But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His son, much more having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life. And not only that, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received the reconciliation" To love those that love us is human, to hate those that love us is evil, but to love ...

L O V E GOD above All

In Mark 12:30 Jesus said: "You shall love the Lord your God with All your Heart, with All your Soul, with All your Mind, and All your Strength" I hope you noticed the superlative word "ALL". he did not say with part of your heart, soul, mind, and strength, but with All of each. Jesus also said something more direct and clear in Matthew 10:37 "He who love his father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me" You might be thinking how and why should I love God above all in life, when I don't even know him or see him? Well if you think right you will understand that God is your creator, he is sustainer, he is your provider, and your redeemer. Without his will and power one could not even be able to breathe, without his will one leaf of a tree would not move or fall, no one else nor anything else can or has done these things for you. Now, I have a surprise for you, actually it is not my su...
